We are a team of business professionals and mathematicians who set on a quest to offer personal financial advice in an entirely new way.
Usually, rules of thumb are used to build very generic financial plans. Our research shows that rules of thumb almost never apply!

Bruce Williams

Bruce brings 30 years of diverse financial service experience and an extensive track record of innovation to mygoals.
A veteran of BMO Financial Group, he led business units in Credit, Marketing, eCommerce, Finance and had front line P/L accountability for several large consumer, commercial and wealth management businesses.
Bruce also the drove the Corporate Development function for Standard Life’s Canadian subsidiary until that business was sold to Manulife in 2015, where he was accountable for strategic alliances, joint ventures, and other innovations.
With a strong mix of entrepreneurial and corporate capabilities, he founded his own Consulting Business in 2008 that specializes in the execution of transformative strategies and the implementation of disruptive business models and new technologies, including start-ups, corporate integrations and turnarounds.

Tiffany has 20 years of experience in the financial services
industry helping individuals and their families identify and achieve their financial goals and objectives.
Tiffany is a Certified Financial Planner and holds numerous industry-related designations: TEP, CLU, CEA, CDFA, CIWM, FCSI, and FEA.
Tiffany is actively involved in the financial services industry and promotes financial planning through speaking engagements, industry related events and advisory boards.
Tiffany is also passionate about financial literacy, contributing to the betterment of the financial planning industry, and giving back to the community.
Tiffany is Head of Practice Management and Planning Services at Manulife Securities.
Frederick Vettese

Fred is an actuary and retirement expert whose career has spanned four decades. From 1991 to 2018, he was Chief Actuary at Morneau Shepell and was also an executive vice-president of the firm.
In recent years, he has turned his focus to helping dispel retirement myths through speeches at industry conferences as well as numerous articles in The Globe & Mail and National Post. In addition, Fred has written three books on retirement. His third book, Retirement Income for Life, was the country’s best-selling book on retirement planning for two years.
Fred also has been an active participant on advisory committees including the C.D. Howe Pension Policy committee, the Morneau Shepell executive committee and the board at Donalda golf and country club.

Dr. Paul Herbert

Dr. Paul Herbert has over 44 years of legal experience in Intellectual Property law and protection. Dr. Herbert has recently retired as the senior partner of Riches, McKenzie and Herbert LLP established 1887 where he practiced chiefly in the field of patents, trademarks and licensing on a global basis.
Dr. Herbert is a pharmaceutical chemist and a lawyer. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in chemistry and law and has a Ph.D. in law. He currently serves on the boards of several universities and many corporations as well as various charitable institutions. Dr. Herbert is the Chief Intellectual Property officer of mygoals.
Paul Farquharson

Paul Farquharson is the principal of Farquharson CPA Professional Corporation and the Chief Financial Officer of mygoals. Paul is a Chartered Professional Accountant (Chartered Accountant and Certified Managerial Accountant). Paul has extensive experience in tax and accounting and a particular interest in how technology and accounting intersect.
